If you want to try on your own, here are the rules:
Envision the end of your life. How old are you? What did you experience? What made you the most happy? What are you the most proud of? What contributed to it being a life with little regret?
Now, make a list of short statements starting with - When I die, they will say….
If you get the concept but need a little more guidance, I made this pre-recorded course just for you.At only $59, it’s approachable way to find direction when you feel lost.
This is your compass.
As Lin-Manuel Miranda says,
Who lives, who dies, who tells your story?
What they say isn’t up to us…but we can live what we hope people will remember.

When I die, they will say I was committed to doing my part to save the world.
They will say I empowered others by asking questions that helped them to access their own inner healing intelligence.
They I will say I was funny, and that my humor mostly didn’t offend anyone.
They will say I was brave and showed people what it looks like when faith and commitment alchemize into greatness.
They will say I was the human equivalent of a weighted blanket. Also, a mountain.
They will say that I used my voice for good. For soothing and comforting, for validating what needed validating, and sharing my knowledge.
They will say I lived both on the Earthly plane and the Spiritual one and walked with others doing the same.
They will remember that I sang often, mostly off-key but with enthusiasm
They will remember that I danced, that I was always moved by music.
They will say I lived well, helped others live well, and advocated for dying better.
They will say I never only sometimes aspired to perfection, focusing on growth and alignment with my own highest self – and this was my expectation of all in my closest circle.
They will say I held people’s hands while they did hard things – with compassion, presence, and sometimes authority.
When I die, they will say that…
My love for my sons was as giant as they are
I was colourful and loved colours.
I was happiest with animals and trees.
I was always nearby but never in the way.
I went toward crisis, because I believed in what was possible.
I was like overwatch, missing nothing, calling out little.
I loved maple and caramel and never chocolate.
If I didn’t know it, I learned it.
Making it possible for people’s voices to be heard was my mission.
I made remembering possible by carrying stories and things worth keeping.
I mattered because I left small marks.
I had more energy than most people.
I had my father’s eyes.
